Menu planning can really make a difference in your food budget, especially if it keeps you away from the drive-thru. Here is what we will be eating this week:
Monday-Black Eyed Pea Soup and Cornbread
Tuesday-Black Beans and Rice
Wednesday-Fried Potatoes and Kielbasa
Thursday-Chicken and Pasta
Friday-Chicago Style Pizza
Saturday-Grilled Pork chops
Sunday-Bubble and Squeak
I always serve at least 2-3 fruits or veggies with each meal, but I usually don't plan these ahead. The exception to that is soup nights. I rarely serve anything but bread and maybe a salad along with the soup.
