I had a few minutes to kill this evening and ran to Kroger to see if I could catch a bargain. I picked up .99 half gallon of whole milk, 3 free Dannon Active Shots, 4 free decorator icing pouches, and lots of Pillsbury biscuits.
In my joy over the great deals I was getting, I purchased 10 Pillsbury products in one transaction, thinking I would get two $3 catalinas. Of course the offer reads $3 on purchase of 5 or more, so I wasted 5 great coupons. Let this be a lesson to you!
Lest you think I am an ingrate, I purchased all of the above for $5.21 and got a $3 catalina. Not a bad deal at all.
BTW: I purchased those icings in the clearance section at the Mallory Ln. Kroger for .25 each. They have lots! If you received the $1 off Betty Crocker dessert decorations coupon in your last home mailer and you have a willing cashier, you can get them free. Even if you didn't get the coupon, they use to retail for $3.25 each and I don't see any expiration date on the packaging, so stock up.
