Today's tip is to mix your juices with water. I started mixing my juice with water years ago when we lived near a Trader Joe's. They have excellent juices, but they are very strong and pricey. Once you start adding a little water, you can gradually increase it. Typically I drink juice at a ratio of 3 or 4 parts water to 1 part juice.
Of course water is cheaper, but sometimes it's nice to enjoy a glass of juice. Typically, I buy a bottle of juice when it's on sale with a coupon, for .80 or less. Then I mix it with water each time I pour a glass. So, I can get the equivalent of 3 or 4 bottles of juice for under $1.
Notes: Mixing juice with water may not be a good idea if you have a member of the family who has trouble maintaining a high enough body weight.
