It's hard for me to believe, but yesterday marked my one month anniversary as a blogger. Me--a technologically challenged, full-time mama, having a platform to share tips and deals. I'm having so much fun!
It is truly my desire to help you save money so that together we can turn those savings around to bless others. In an attempt to further those goals, I am continuing to add new features to the blog. Here are some that are already up and running:
Quick List
The Quick List is my way of helping shoppers who are short on time. The idea is to give you a quick glimpse of the very best deals around town. If you only have time to hit one store, this might help you decide. I've also marked deals that are worth stockpiling, so that you don't miss out on that one great deal that's worth an extra stop. It's my desire to make this list a helpful one for couponers and non-couponers alike.
Email Subscription
If you love Frugal in Franklin, but don't have time to check in every day, this is the feature for you. By entering your email in the subscription form on the right, you can receive an email featuring all of the days posts. A quick click on links in the email will bring you directly to the blog if you want to follow up on anything you read. If you find the blog helpful, please let your friends know about this resource.
Feed Subscription
Hardcore savers will want to consider a feed subscription. This will allow you to have real time access to posts as soon as they go up. If you would like to see a running list of posts on your internet homepage, give this a try.
Shopping
I will be blunt, I rarely buy books. I was an English major, we homeschool, I always have a stack of books going on my nightstand. There are five people in our family and we have six library cards. If we purchased all of the books our family reads, we would have to move out to make room for the library. The books in my shop are all books I consider frugal must-haves. They are the well worn reference books on my shelf. Your purchase of these books off of my site helps to justify all the hours I spend on this blog (although your personal stories of saving and giving justify it most of all).
Individual Store Tabs
This is also a feature designed to save you time. If you are getting ready to head to Kroger, click on the Kroger tab at the top of the page before you head out. The matchup list for the week, along with any extra deals that have popped up will be available here. If your looking for matchups, and the top post is something else (say Penny Item), just scroll down the page.
I am continuing to build new features into the site. Please email me if you have suggestions or comments. I would love to hear about the things that are helpful to you. Are there things you can't find anywhere else that you need? Let me know!
In the meantime, I woud like to thank you all for making this a very fulfilling month.
